October Beauty Favorites

This month went by really fast!!
And I have some new favorite products to share with you.

  • Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

For skincare, I have been loving the face cleanser from Fresh. I got it in a gift set which I reviewed earlier. Click here.

This is by far the best face wash I have ever tried, I love it even more than the Purity from Philosophy. It is creamy, yet it does foam up a little bit. It takes off makeup, and it does not dry my skin out. You can totally use it with Clarisonic since the texture is so creamy and smooth.

  • Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Liner in Crash

Now, this pencil is a absolute bargain because I got it on Urban Decay's official website for $4!!! It is still in the sale section if you want to check them out.

This is a shimmery deep plum color. I don't like to use black liner because I think it can be too harsh on me, plus black liners always smudge on me. Just like the other liners from Urban Decay, Crash is very creamy and has decent staying power.

I draw it thickly along my lash line and smudge upward till I can see a little bit of this color on the lids when I open my eyes. Then I layer some medium to dark tone (purple, brown, bronze, plum) eyeshadows onto the liner. Normally I use hustle in the Naked palette. This look is perfect for monolids, it is quick and it really makes a difference, and it last all day.

  • Laneige Cushion BB Cream

I find it so hard to wake up in the morning lastely, which significantly reduced the time I have to do my makeup in the morning. This cushion BB cream is my savior. I got it when I was in Seoul, and I heard this type of cushion BB/CC cream is really popular in Korean right now.

It is just so easy to use, I just use the puff and dab the cushion a few times, and the product would come onto the puff, then I just swipe the puff onto my face. Dab dab, swipe swipe, and I am done for the base makeup! It has built in SPF, so no need to apply sunscreen. The finish is really nice and natural as well.

The only downside is that I don't think this is available in US. But I did find a cushion BB cream from AmorePacific (Korean bases company who owns Laneige) on Sephora's website. I think they might be very comparable to each other, but the AmorePacific one is slightly pricier. But still, you can try to find something similar on asian cosmetics websites.

  • Mally Shadow Stick in Platinum

A silver cream shadow stick I got from a set, which I did a review on. Click here . I use it to highlight the inner corners. It lasts ALL day and the color stays vivid. What's more, I had this for more than a year now, and I use it at least twice a week, but I only used up like 1/4 of the product...This is truly the eyeshadow stick that will lasts and lasts.

  • The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil

When it comes to acne problems, I am very loyal to my Tea Tree Oil from The Body Shop. It is very natural and it sanitizes and calms down the breakout skin. A bottle last me a really long time and it only costs less than $10. I just use it on my pimples before I sleep, it tingles a little at first, which feels oddly promising to me because I know it is working now. When I wake up in the morning, the pimples will shrink a lot more.

That is it for my October favorites.
Happy Halloween everyone!!!
