Mascara Monday: Mally Volumizing Mascara

Hi all,
Today I'm reviewing Mally's Volumizing Mascara in black(non-waterproof version).

It retails for $20 and it is also available in various sets. I bought the Eye Love It Kit for $30 from beauty.com which includes this mascara, a gunmetal eyeliner and a silver shadow stick (all in full size).
Now, I really want to love this mascara because I have heard so many great things about it, plus this tube is one of Mally's best selling pieces. Sadly, I love everything in this kit EXCEPT the mascara.
It has a standard brush without any pointing tips on top. Application wasn't too bad. However, the brush picks up quite a lot of product, which makes it quite easy to clump up.

Pros:

• Thickens my lashes in just one coat.
• Color is intensely black
• My lashes feel very soft after apply it.
• Very easy to remove. Even warm water and facial cleanser will do the job.

Cons:

• Formula is too wet. It takes a long time to dry on my lashes.
• Does NOT hold the curl. In fact it makes my lashes pretty droopy.
• Smudges on me after 3-4 hours.
• Clump up after two coats.

Before & After:

Honestly I don't see a huge difference in my lashes because they are all very droopy. This mascara does thicken my lashes within just one coat, which is impressive, and does a little lengthening as well.

Conclusion:
Since I have monolids, the most important quality I look for in a mascara is that it must not make my lashes droopy and it must not smudge too much. Unfortunately, the Mally Volumizing Mascara does not meet my expectations at all. I find many cheaper mascaras does a better job on me.

However, this mascara does not work for me, but it doesn't mean that it would not work on you. If your lashes has some natural curl and you are just looking for a very effective volumizing mascara. This might be the perfect one for you.
